A symbol on the top left of the camera image on the screen
indicates whether the door intercom showing the camera image is
being supplied with power by the power supply unit (
) or by
batteries (
) .
If there is a ring on the intercom and a snapshot is saved but the
conversation is not accepted on a mobile unit, (at least) one new
snapshot is indicated by the flashing red
symbol at the top
left of the screen. As soon as the "Snap Show" menu item is
selected, the symbol disappears.
Transmission of sound is only available while the talk function is
activated.
With the mobile unit switched on, press any button
[1/2/3/5/7/8] to make the start screen [6] appear.
Press the right button
[7 - “Mon” (Monitor)]. With only one
paired door intercom, its camera image appears automatically;
with two paired intercoms, use the
and
[2] buttons to select
the intercom required, confirm by pressing the left button

- “Select”]and the camera image appears.
As long as the camera image is visible, the following options are

To take a static image and save it on the mobile unit, press the

By pressing the talk button [1], you can activate the talk function:
either the sound from the microphone [21] on the door intercom
can be heard over the loudspeaker [10] on the mobile unit or the
sound from the microphone [4] on the mobile unit can be heard
over the loudspeaker [18] on the door intercom in alternation
(intercom function).
The talk function can be ended by pressing the on/off button
[8]; otherwise, it ends automatically after approx. 45 seconds,
the start screen appears again and the screen goes off after
approx. 20 seconds.
Pressing the door release button [5] activates a connected door
release, the start screen appears again and the screen switches off
after approx. 20 seconds.
To switch the camera off again, press the on/off button
[8];
otherwise, this happens automatically after approx. 45 seconds,
the start screen appears again and the screen switches off after
approx. 20 seconds.

the intercom is supplied in energy-saving mode. "Monitor" appears on
the black screen. (In energy-saving mode, the camera image is

To establish a wireless connection between a DVT50T door intercom
and a DVT50M mobile unit, pair them as follows:
The door intercom and mobile unit must both have a power
supply and the mobile unit must be switched on.
Press any button [1/2/3/5/7/8] on the mobile unit to make the
start screen appear.
Press the left button
[3 - “Menu”] to open the menu.
Scroll through the menu with the

reach "Register" and press the left button
[3 - “Select”].
You can select between door intercom of the set (channel no. 1) or
a second door intercom (channel 2).

To connect an additional mobile unit to the door intercom of
the DVT50 SET, select channel No. 1.
To connect a mobile unit to a second door intercom, select
channel No. 2.
Press the left button

you now have approx. 20 seconds to complete pairing.
Press and hold the pairing button [27] on the door intercom until
you hear three short beeps on the intercom as confirmation that
pairing has been successful; the mobile unit then makes a "plop"
sound and the start screen appears again.
Both mobile units of the DVT50/2 SET have already been paired with
the door intercom on channel No. 1, one with the upper and one with
the lower doorbell button. Each doorbell button can be paired with a
second mobile unit.
