SERVICING & DISMANTLING PROCEDURES
Safety Notes
1.
Refer to the Safety Notes on Page 2 of this manual.
2.
Before carrying out any work ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the mains
supply.
3.
To undertake any dismantling, with the exception of the light bulbs and filter
replacement, remove the hood from its location and place on a protected surface.
4.
Personal safety precautions must be taken to protect against accidents caused by sharp
edges on metal, glass and plastic parts.

A) Grease & Carbon Filter (if fitted)
1.
To extract the grease filters, pull the spring loaded handle, (Fig. A).
2.
The carbon filter (Fig. B) if used, remove by pressing the two front levers which secure it to the
hood.
Assembly:
Secure the carbon filter first in the back using the hoods metal tabs (Fig. C) and then in
the front by pressing the two levers.
B) Lamp Assembly
1.
Disconnect the unit from the mains and remove the grease filters.
2.
Remove the two screws securing the lamp assembly trim and lower the trim, Fig. 1.
