8 - Defrosting
Defrosting shall be made when the frost layer is more than 4 mm thick on the evaporator. Switch off on the
thermostat, store the foodstuff and the beverages as cold as possible during the defrosting process. Do not use
sharp tools to remove frost or ice. Do not re-start until the box is completely defrosted, cleaned and dried.
9 - Periods of non operation
When the box is stopped for longer periods, put the door and the lid in a slightly open position to ventilate the
box. Take out the bulb from the light unit to avoid power consumption if the lid is left open.
10 - Maintenance
Check yearly the air ventilation system and clean when necessary.
The refrigerant circuit do not normally need any maintenance.
There is a door to open below the shelf inside the cupboard abaft the refrigeration box were the compressor unit
is reachable.
The compressor unit can be pulled out for better access to the fan on the inner side of the compressor unit. Pull it
out with care and no longer than necessary to avoid damages on the cooling pipes.
When pushing back the compressor bracket, be sure the inner hooks on the compressor plate enter correct
position before the locking screw is fastened again.
Replacement electronic unit
The electronic unit can be replaced without pulling out the compressor. It is locked with one single screw, tighten
this into the bottom using a short screwdriver, pull/turn out the electronic unit, it will slide out over the screw head,
pull out the cable connector from the three pins on the compressor. Mount the new electronic unit in opposite
order. Screw out the locking screw a few turns.
