Unpacking
1 Unpack the appliance immediately and check that it has
not been damaged during transport. In the event of
damage, do not connect it but contact the Dealer.
2 Carefully remove the protective packaging and adhesive
tape, open the door and check the integrity of the various
components.
3 Take out the power supply cable.
Positioning
1 Place the appliance in a well-ventilated area that is dry
and free (avoid closed-in cabinets).
2 Keep the appliance away from heat sources.
3 Make sure that the minimum distances are maintained
between the appliance and the space where it is
positioned to ensure proper ventilation.

Electrical connection
After transit, place the appliance in an upright position and
wait for at least 3 hours before connecting it to the
electrical supply. Before plugging the appliance into
the power socket, ensure that:
• the socket is earthed and conforms to regulations;
• the socket is sufficient for the maximum power
load of the machine, as indicated in the Technical
Specifications table or on the rating plate on the
bottom right (see Description of the appliance);
• the power supply voltage is within the range
indicated in the Technical Specifications table or
on the rating plate on the bottom right (see
Description of the appliance);
• the power socket is compatible with the plug on
the appliance. If not, replace the socket or the plug;
do not use extensions or multiple sockets.
