Important Instructions
Please read all operating instructions before using the appliance.
Do's
1. Before plugging the socket ensure that the supply voltage is in accordance with the
rated one.
2. Always preheat the sandwich maker before starting to cook.
3. While leaving, even for a short while, always unplug the appliance to avoid the
possibility of fire.
4. Children are not aware of the danger that can be caused by the electrical appliance.
Therefore close supervision is necessary when the appliance is operated by or near
children.
5. If the appliance is damaged, it must only be replaced by an authorized service
personnel.
6. Avoid exposure of sandwich maker to heated surfaces or direct heat.
Don'ts
1. Do not operate the sandwich maker near flammable materials such as curtains, wall
fabric, etc. as this could cause fire.
2. Do not push the detachable plate lock to open it when the appliance is in use.
3. Oversized foods, metal foil packages or any utensils must not be inserted in the
sandwich maker as they may damage the non-stick coating of the heating plates.
4. Do not use sharp or abrasive items in contact with the cooking plate as this may also
damage the non-stick coating.
5. Never put the power cord near to or in contact with hot surfaces of the sandwich maker.
6. Never immerse the sandwich maker in water.
7. Do not touch the heating plate while cooking as it may cause severe burns.
8. Never use the appliance if it is damaged anyway.
Before First Use
After unpacking the unit and before any use, clean the surface of the plates with a damp
cloth and some dish soap.
