• Never lay a thin plastic sheet or cloth under the basic unit. It may get sucked up and block
the ventilation holes in the base.
• Do not allow the cord to hang over the edges of the table, or touch hot surface.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water.
• Keep the appliance away from the children.
• Do not attempt to repair the MG at home or allow any unauthorized person to do it either. In
the event of your MG needing attention, take it to your dealer or call him for help.
• After unpacking the unit and before any use, make sure the all parts of the unit and all its
attachments are not damaged.
• Wash the jars of the appliance, which will come into contact with the food material.
• Carefully go through the instruction manual before starting the grinding operation.
How to Fit Jars
• Hold the jar and check if the blade moves freely and rotates. Place the ingredients in the
jar. Cover the jar with lid. Place the jar on the basic unit and then turn it clockwise to lock it in
the top socket. Plug in. Support lid gently by hand and switch on using the slowest speed
and then move on to higher speeds as per requirements. Switch off after operation. For
unlocking the jar, turn it anticlockwise.
How to Use Liquidizer Jar
• This jar can be used for grinding items like soaked rice and dal batter grinding, liquidizing
for fruit juices, soups, cocktails, milk shakes, purees etc. the minimum capacity of the jar is
1/3 jar and maximum capacity is 2/3 jar.
• Fill the jar with the solids to be liquidized such as tomatoes. Fit the jar on to the main unit.
• Place the dome assembly with its cap on the jar.
• If needed water can be added by removing the dome cap. Now switch on the mixer for one
minute and you will get finally blended juices and purees.
• If ingredients need to be stirred during wet grinding of rice and dal, Stop mixer, insert
spatula and stir.
How to Use Dry Grinding Jar
• This jar can be used for grinding black pepper, roasted coffee seeds, turmeric, coriander,
red chilies etc. the jar should not be filled more than ½ of its total capacity.
• Ensure that the jar is absolutely clean and dry.
• Fill the jar with the ingredients. Place the lid on the top of the jar and fit the jar on the main
unit.
• Grind at low speeds for about 15 seconds and then move to higher speeds.
• During turmeric grinding first break it into smaller pieces before starting grinding operation.
How to Use Chutney Jar
• This jar can be used to grind small quantities of Dhania, coconut, green chilies, etc. and
chutney grinding. The jar must be filled up to the blade level. The jar should not be filled
more than ½ of the jar capacity.
• Put the ingredients into the chutney jar.
• Add a small quantity of water during chutney grinding.
• Put the lid on the top of the jar and fit the jar into the main unit.
• Stir the ingredients if necessary during grinding.
• The ingredients to be ground should not be too large. Cut/ break ingredients into small
pieces.
• The Mixer Grinder is protected against the sudden overloads. In case such a situation
does occur, your mixer grinder will automatically turn off.
• To restart the unit, please wait for 2-3 minutes to allow the motor to cool down and also
remove the cause of overload. Press the button located at the bottom of the mixer grinder
to restart the unit.
• Hold down the jar cover lightly with hand while mixer is in operation to eliminate chance of
lid flying.
• Long runs heat up the contents and take away the flavour.
How to Clean Liquidizer Jar

position. This dislodges the food particles lodged inside the jar.
• Remove the jar and pour out the soap solution and rinse with tap water. Unscrew the blade
assembly using spatula.
• Wipe the area along the blades with a wet cloth and then dry.

· After dry grinding, remove the contents and wipe the jar with a dry cloth.

1. Please note that initial empty running of jars will throw out some oil impregnated in bushes.
Therefore, it is advisable to thoroughly clean all Jars before actual use.
2. Hold down the jar lids lightly with hand while mixer is in operation.
3. Turmeric grinding should be done in dry grinding jar (S.S.) only. For this break the turmeric into
small pieces before grinding.
Do's
• Thoroughly familiarize yourself with the functions of the mixer grinder before operation.
• Before connecting the appliance check the mains voltage complies with the voltage specified.
• Place your mixer grinder at a convenient height so that you can operate it easily. You should be
able to look down into the attachments to check the circulation of the ingredients.
• Clear out some space around the machine and keep mixer grinder away from direct heat and
sun.
• In dry grinding, friction may heat up the jar. It has nothing to do with the motor, so don't worry.
• Always remove and fix blades with the help of spatula.
• Remember MG operates at optimum efficiency at the specified voltage only. Wide voltage
fluctuations during operation might affect the quality of grinding even though motor will still be
safe.
• Liquidizing jobs should be done at lower speed initially and as the food begins to process
higher speeds can be used.
• Operate in short cycles depending on the recipes.
• Always clean the jars so that sticky substances or particles do not restrict the blade
movement.
Don'ts
• Do not run the motor without any load.
• Your MG cannot substitute for a storage shelf. So avoid storing food in the jar.
• Do not operate grinder without the lid properly clamped over the jar.
• Do not touch the moving parts and blades in operation. These revolve at extremely high
speeds and may cause injury.
• Do not grind sugar in your MG. it may cause damage to the MG motor.
• Do not overload the motor.
