BATTERY INSTALLATION
The Impecca wireless keyboard and the Impecca optical mouse both require two AAA alkaline
batteries each.
Battery Installation Procedures
Optical Mouse:
Step 1: Open the battery cover located on the flat
surface on the bottom of the mouse by gently
squeezing the front of the tab.
Step 2: Insert two AAA batteries into the battery
compartment as shown in the picture below.
Step 3: Close the battery cover.
Keyboard:
Step 1: Open the cover of the battery compartment located
on the bottom side of the keyboard, by gently
squeezing the front of the tab.
Step 2: Insert two AAA batteries into the battery
compartment as shown in the picture on the right.
Step 3: Close the battery cover.
Energy Consumption
While the USB nano receiver is active, the keyboard and the mouse will consume battery power,
however both are equipped with energy savings features.
During normal operating mode, the wireless keyboard consumes up to 10 mA, but in sleep mode, it
consumes no more than 0.2 mA .
During normal operating mode, the wireless mouse consumes up to 15 mA, but in deep sleep
mode, it consumes no more than 0.03 mA.
