The forward or rewind buttons
do not work
Some discs have sections that
prohibit scanning or skipping.
For example, the unit cannot
skip through the warning infor-
mation and copyright notices at
the beginning of a DVD.

Blu-ray, CD-G, CD-Extra, CD-
ROM and DVD-ROM discs are
not supported. Discs with
deformities will also not tend to
play successfully.
FM Reception is poor
Ensure that the provided FM an-
tenna is connected securely and
the station is properly tuned.
Move the FM antenna to various
positions at various angles to
gain reception.
No sound is heard
Ensure that the unit is not on
mute and that the volume is
turned up. See if other audio
sources are working by pressing
the SOURCE button.
No sound in the center / sur-
round speakers
This is normal if the material be-
ing played is not in 5.1 surround.
You may wish to turn on Prologic
II by pressing that button on the
remote control.
Movie is not heard in 5.1 sur-
round
Make sure the DVD supports
types may need to play in stereo.
