Cool Fluorescent Light. This lightweight daylight-balanced
fluorescent lighting fixture is an inexpensive way to produce
soft, professional lighting in the studio or on location.
Fluorescent bulbs deliver diffused, flattering light. Fluorescents
are also cool to the touch, so they’re ideal for photographing
anything that’s affected by heat, like food or people. The FRC-24
air-induction cooling system keeps everything really cool.
Your Ready Cool light has a flexible stand adapter that makes
it possible to mount the fixture to most light stands and easily
position the light. The built-in barn doors provide control over
your lighting. The easy-access built-in fuse protects the unit
from overloaded electrical circuits—it’s always a good idea to
keep spare fuses on hand.
The included daylight-balanced bulbs will produce light with
a color temperature similar to daylight. The hammered silver
reflective surface on the barn doors maximizes light output. The
FRC-24 fixture has two switches to select full or half power—
you can choose between 220 W or 110 W for greater lighting
versatility.
