4.3 PARAMETERS TO BE SET UPON
INSTALLATION.
To access the Installation parameters menu, press
keys (1 and 2) simultaneously for 3 seconds.
All the adjustable parameters may be checked
and modified if necessary from this menu.
The default values entered in the factory settings
ensure optimal operation.
The pictograms ( ) and (
) show the
Installation parameters menu is activated.
To change parameters to be set, press key (2).
To change the value, press key (1 or 5).
A parameter setting is validated by moving on to
the next parameter.

Parameter 1:
Legionella
protection
frequency
OFF
Legionella protection is not active
1
Pre-set value.
1 Legionella protection cycle a week.
2
1 Legionella protection cycle every 2 weeks.
3
1 Legionella protection cycle every 3 weeks.
4
1 Legionella protection cycle every 4 weeks.
Parameter 2: Type of instal-
lation
0
Pre-set value.
Water heater installation only.
1
Function not available in these versions.
2
Water heater installation in combination with a boiler (only possible for pre-set
products).
3
Water heater installation for photovoltaic system.
4
Installation of the water heater with a boiler and PV system (only possible for
pre-arranged products).
Parameter 3: Connections
to conduits
0
Pre-set value.
Position 0 is for a water heater installed without conduits.
1
Position 1 corresponds to a water heater with one conduit only connected (generally
the discharge one).
2
Position 2 is for inlet and outlet conduits.
Parameter 4: Initialisation
OFF
Pre-set value.
ON
Allows factory settings to be reset.
4.4 ADJUSTING TEMPERATURE
SETTING.
The factory temperature setting for your appli-
ance is 52°C, in ECO mode.
Setting may be modified by pressing the (1) and
(5) keys directly via the default display.
The lower the heat pump setting the better the
performance coefficient (COP).
4.5 DESCRIPTION OF OPERATING
MODES.
To change operating mode, press the central
"MODE" key (3).
All the operating modes appear on screen, and an
arrow flashes above the active mode (the default
factory setting for the water-heater is the ECO
mode) (Fig. 4-2).
To change operating mode, press the central
"MODE" key (3) again until the desired mode
is selected (for instance, for the configuration
above, one press will configure the water-heater
in BOOST mode, and two consecutive presses
will configure it in ABSENCE mode (
) , etc.).
Once the desired operating mode is selected, wait
5s for the system to validate the change. Only the
pictogram for the current operating mode will
then be displayed on screen.
Operation of AUTO mode (heat pump, auxil-
iary electric unit and boiler).
This operating mode automatically manages the
choice of energy that will provide the maximum
energy savings while assuring sufficient hot water
for comfort.
The water heater chooses the heat pump for
preference. If air temperatures are outside the op-
erating ranges, or if a fault is detected on the heat
pump, the auxiliary electric unit or the auxiliary
boiler if available, will be selected automatically,
to assure a sufficient supply of hot water.
In AUTO mode, the factory temperature setting
is 60°C. The setting range is from 50°C to 62°C.
Warning:
this mode also allows the heat pump
to operate with a thermal solar auxiliary unit.
However, simultaneous operation of the heat
pump and solar auxiliary unit may damage the
product. It is therefore essential to use the heat
pump in time slots when there is no solar energy
available (to do this, use the programmable timer
mode for the heat pump).
