Important Notes

The unit corresponds to all relevant direc­
tives of the EU and is therefore marked 
with  .

WARNING

The unit uses dangerous 
mains voltage. Leave servic­
ing to skilled personnel and 
do not insert anything into 
the air vents; inexpert han­
dling may result in electric 
shock.
To prevent damage to your 
eyes, never look directly 
into the light source for any 
length of time.
Please note that fast changes 
in lighting may trigger epi­
leptic seizures with photo­
sensitive persons or persons 
with epilepsy!
Install the unit safely and 
expertly. If it is installed at a 
place where people may walk 
or sit under, it must addition­
ally be secured (e. g. by a 
safty rope; fix the safety rope 
so that the maximum falling 
distance of the unit will not 
exceed  20 cm).

The unit is suitable for indoor use only.
Protect it against dripping water, splash
water and high air humidity. The ad­
missible ambient temperature range is
0 – 40 °C.

• 

Do not place any vessel with liquid on the
unit, e. g. a drinking glass.

• 

The heat generated inside the unit must
be dissipated by air circulation; never
cover the air vents of the housing.

• 

Immediately disconnect the mains plug
from the socket
1. if the unit or the mains cable is visibly

damaged,

2. if a defect might have occurred after

the unit was dropped or suffered a
similar accident,

3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the unit must be repaired by
skilled personnel.

Never pull the mains cable to disconnect
the mains plug from the socket, always
seize the plug.

• 

The current load of the mains output jack
must not exceed 10 A.

• 

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth;

never use water or chemicals.

• 

No guarantee claims for the unit and no
liability for any resulting personal dam­
age or material damage will be accepted
if the unit is used for other purposes
than originally intended, if it is not safely
 installed or not correctly connected or
operated, or if it is not repaired in an ex­
pert way.

If the unit is to be put out of oper­
ation definitively, take it to a local 
recycling plant for a disposal which 
is not harmful to the environment.

Never put discharged batteries in 
the household waste. To protect 
the environment, always take 
them to a special waste disposal, 
e. g. collection container at your
retailer.
