• Make sure the underblanket is always fully spread out, with no folds.
• Make the bed, laying the mattress cover and/or the first sheet on top of the underblanket.
Place the second sheet and the normal blanket or duvet on top.
CONNECTING THE CONTROL UNIT
• Insert the control unit connector (2) in the underblanket connector (1) to join the two.
• For the double bed model, repeat this procedure for the second control unit as well.
• Run the control unit cable on the floor, next to the bed. Don’t crush the control unit
cable between the mattress and the bed frame.
SWITCHING ON AND SELECTING THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE
The control unit can be set to the following temperature levels:
II: maximum temperature
I: minimum temperature
0: OFF
• Insert the plug of the control unit cable in the mains socket (3).
• To heat the bed, switch the underblanket on by setting the temperature selector (6) at
position ‘II’ (maximum temperature), then cover the bed with the sheet and blanket or duvet.
• The temperature LED (7) switches on, lighting up the selected temperature level.
NOTE: The time needed for the underblanket to warm up will depend on the room
temperature. The temperature of the underblanket must be evaluated by lying in
the bed rather than just feeling it by hand.
NIGHT-TIME OR CONTINUOUS USE
For night-time or continuous use, set the control unit to
temperature level ‘I’ only.
DO NOT get into bed with the control unit set to a higher temperature
than recommended for continuous use.
If the appliance is slept on with the controls set to a higher temperature
the user may suffer skin burns or heat stroke.
WARNING! DO NOT place the control unit under the pillow
or under the sheets when in use.
