Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
The appliance must not be used by people who are insensitive to heat or very
vulnerable and unable to react to overheating.
This appliance must not be used by children if the control devices have not been set
beforehand by a parent or guardian or if the child has not been properly instructed
on how to use these devices safely.
• WARNING – It is NOT suitable for children under the age of 3. Children under
the age of 3 must not use the appliance due to their inability to react to overheating.
• DO NOT activate the temperature control with wet hands.
• DO NOT pull the power cable or the appliance itself to remove the plug from the
socket.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning or performing
maintenance and when the appliance is not in use.
• If the appliance if faulty or malfunctions, switch it off and do not tamper with it. Any
repairs must only be carried out by an authorised technical service centre.
• If the power cable is damaged, the control unit must be replaced by an authorised
technical service centre to prevent any risk.
• The appliance must only be used with the kinds of control units indicated on the
appliance’s label.
• DO NOT place the control unit under the pillow or between the sheets or bed
covers when the appliance is connected.
• Inspect the appliance frequently to check for signs of wear and tear. If such signs
are found or if the appliance has been used incorrectly, contact an authorised
technical assistance centre before continuing to use it.
• People with a pacemaker are recommended not to use the appliance all night
long. The appliance can be used to warm the bed, but it must be switched off and
disconnected from the power supply before going to bed.
• DO NOT use on an adjustable bed: if so, ensure that the blanket or its cable
cannot get trapped or stuck.
• DO NOT tuck in.
• This appliance is not intended for medical use in hospitals.
• DO NOT use if wet.
• DO NOT use the appliance to keep animals warm.
