Testing Input and
Output Signals
Test signals on all connected channels. You can verify input and output signals by recording
and playing back a test clip.
To test I/O signals on a channel

In the channel window, click
Add ID
(see
Figure 3-9
).

In the
ID
box enter the name of the new clip. This is the name of your test clip.

In the
Duration
box enter a time duration for the test clip. Thirty seconds to 2 minutes is
recommended.
