4.4 Door Alarm (

The door alarm is used in combination with the CO
2
backup system. It is safe to make sure that the
operator will not get liquid CO
2
/LN
2
in the face in case of opening the door of the freezer. Always
connect the CO
2
/LN
2
backup system to the door alarm on the back of the freezer.
For safety, measure resistance on the contacts with Ohmmeter
1. Measure contacts of door alarm and resistance shows 0 Ohm. Door is closed.
2. Open the chamber door.
3. Measure contacts of door alarm again and resistance shows limitless. Door is open.
