The Illumitex Versa™ VL is capable of 180°vertical aiming and 360°axial aiming.
FIXTURE AIMING
FIXTURE WIRING
The following instructions are for wiring the Versa™ VL to a 120VAC to 277VAC, 50/60Hz power
input and should be done by a qualified electrician.
1. The Versa™ VL is supplied with 18AWG wires coming from the ½”-14 NPS threaded nipple
through a molded silicone gasket. These wires can be connected directly to the power input
from a stake, canopy or junction box which is ETL listed for 120VAC to 277VAC line voltage
and wet locations.
2. Do not use the fixture wires to hang or suspend the fixture while making wire connections.
3. Connect the power input and dimming wires per the directions below.
4. Care should be taken to avoid pinching wires during installation.
5. Gel-filled, waterproof wire nuts are recommended for wiring connections. If attaching to a
junction box, make sure junction box cover is fully sealed and thread seal tape is used on ½”-
NPS threaded nipple.
Note: Gel-filled, waterproof wire nuts and thread seal tape not provided.
