HANGING INSTRUCTIONS
a) Hold the base at the center of the place where the IKTAM will be hung.
b) Use the level to verify that the base is completely straight.
c) Take the pencil and, using the base as a guide, mark on the wall where
the screws will be placed later (the small circles in the base).
If the wall is made of drywall
d) Using the drill and the 3/8” bit, perforate the wall deep enough so that
the corresponding anchors can be installed (approximately 2”).
e) Insert the expansive anchors in the perforations with the help of a
hammer.
f) Place the base on the anchors and secure with the 1/4” screws for drywall.
Use the level to check that the base is in the correct position.
If the wall is made of brick or concrete
g) Using the drill and the 5/16” bit, perforate the wall deep enough so that
the corresponding anchors can be installed (approximately 2 1/2”).
h) Insert the expansive anchors in the perforations with the help of a
hammer.
i) Place the base on the anchors and secure with the 1/4” screws for
concrete. Use the level to check that the base is in the correct position.
