Pairing the car kit with a Bluetooth cell phone
Please make sure your cell phone is Bluetooth-enabled. The pairing steps are
subject to different models of cell phones. Please refer to your cell phone’s
user’s manual for further information. The general pairing steps are as
follows:
1)
Keep the car kit and Bluetooth cell phone where they are easily viewable
by no more than 1 meter apart;
2)
Ensure the car kit is turned off, otherwise turn off the car kit first (please
refer to “Turning on/off the car kit);
3)
Press and hold
button for about 5-7 seconds until LED flashes red
and blue alternately, the car kit successfully entered pairing mode;
4)
Activate the cell phone’s Bluetooth function and search for Bluetooth
device. After the search is completed, select “I
KBT15
” from the
Bluetooth device list;
5)
According to the indication, enter password or PIN No. : “0000”, and
press “Yes” or “confirm”;
6)
After successful pairing, select “IKBT15” from the Bluetooth device list,
and press “connect”. After successful connecting, blue LED is on for 1
second every 30 seconds.
Remarks:
Pairing mode will last 2 minutes. If no devices can be connected after 2
minutes, IKBT15 will exit pairing mode. If you want to repair, please
turn off IKBT15 first and then try re-pairing according to steps 1
～
