This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Extreme caution should be used at all times when using the ladder.

Always place the ladder on level and solid ground, and make sure it is stable and in good
balance.

Always check that all hinges are in correct position for the particular use.

When used as straight ladder, the ladder must always be set at the correct angle (75,5°)
against the support.

The platforms may only be used when the ladder is used in horizontal position as scaffold.

Inspect the ladder when you receive it and before each use. Never use a ladder that is
damaged in any way or is bent or broken. All parts should be in perfect condition.

Check that all hinges, nuts and bolts are tight, that all rungs, extensions, braces and locks
are safely positioned and that the hinges work properly.

Keep the ladder clean and free from grease, oil, mud, snow, paint and any other slippery
material. Wear flat shoes when using the ladder. Do not wear leather-soled shoes.

Never make temporary repairs of damaged or missing parts.

Scrap the ladder if it is broken, worn out or has been exposed to fire or corrosive
chemicals.

Ladders should never be
placed in contact with electric cables, regardless of what they are made of.

Ensure the ladder is locked in one of the set positions and the hinges are properly locked.

Place the ladder on a safe, firm surface. Do not use it on boxes, unstable bases or scaf-
folding to gain height. Never place the ladder in front of an unlocked door that opens to-
wards the ladder.

Do not stand on ladders if you tire easily, have dizzy spells, are on medication, under the
effects of alcohol or physically disabled.

To protect children, never leave the ladder up and unattended.

Always face the ladder when going up or down it, and keep your weight centered between
the side rails.

Never try to reach things that are too far away when you are on the ladder. Move the
ladder nearer whenever necessary.

Never rock the ladder or try to move it while you are on it.
