2. General Description

This MLW-2420C is a 24” Wide Screen, Multi-format LCD monitor for specialist ap-

plications where high quality picture reproduction and true colour rendition is re-

quired.

It employs a very fine LCD panel of 1920(H)x1200(V) WUXGA with full colour  repro-

duction of 16.7 million colour graduation ( 8 bit x 3 colours ) with high brightness

performance of 400 cd/sq meter. A smart jaggy-free or non-serrated smooth natural

picture can be displayed, due to Ikegami’s latest unique over-drive circuit.

For the convenience of users, various options are available, especially RGB or SDI

input types to meet varying customer input specification requirements.

Strong, Rugged construction, but Light in weight

The MLW-2420C LCD monitors are designed to withstand harsh applications and

environments for a long service period. Built with a strong Aluminum Alloy frame

body for easy handling in setup, because of clever body design for lighter total weight,

and also for a good anti-radiation performance.

High Resolution, Faithful Colour Reproduction

All Ikegami medical LCD monitors employ a high quality LCD panel of high reso-

lution with very natural colour reproduction capability, enhanced video quality is

achieved by a newly employed powerful signal process engine, which draw out full

performance of a 1900x1200 WUXGA panel capability for the MLW-2420C.

High Performance from New Digital Process Engine

Easy viewing is assured with a smart digital process, compensating for, digital

Jaggy-free lines in an interlace-progressive conversion, irritating glare from  dif-

ferences in each pixel and general noise generation especially in dark areas.

•

Very Wide Viewing Area with high contrast

Both 178 degrees, Vertical and Horizontal viewing angles are achieved ensuring

much easier viewing of the panel from different positions with a high screen con-

trast ratio. The IK-LCD75-100-B VESA type Wall Mount Adaptor is available as an

useful option for 15”, 19” and 24” Ikegami LCD monitors.

Various Gamma Characteristics

5 different Gamma characters can be set, including the Standard CRT Gamma of

2.2, the DICOM Gamma and so on.
