Troubleshooting
iRig Mic Field does not activate when plugged into my iOS device
Verify that you’re using a compatible device.
Disconnect and re-connect iRig Mic Field to verify that you have securely connected iRig Mic Field to the iOS device.
Sound is distorted.
Check that the input level on iRig Mic Field has been set properly. If the RED LED is lighting when you record on iRig
Mic Field, decrease the input level as described in this guide.
The iRig Mic Field status LED is always dark blue and I don’t get any sound.
In order for iRig Mic Field to turn ON, a Core Audio-compatible audio app must first be launched on your iOS device.
Be sure you are using an app that works with the digital audio input from the Lightning dock connector.
