TV (1Seg)
“1Seg”, a mobile terrestrial digital television service in
Japan, is available on the PLY.
Using the TV Antenna
The Toshiba earphone conversion adapter 02 for external
connection jack supplied with your cell phone has an
embedded TV antenna. You need to connect the earphone
adapter to your cell phone to watch TV (1Seg).
Before using TV, you must configure initial settings of
EZweb (page 11).
If you are watching TV indoors, you may be able to
improve the reception by moving closer to a window.
The continuous viewing times of TV (1Seg) are as
follows. The figures vary according to the usage of
data broadcasts.

Initial Setup of au Media Tuner
To watch TV (1Seg) using the au Media Tuner, you need to
configure initial settings.
When the standby screen is displayed, press

Disclaimer notes are displayed.

displayed.
Follow the on-screen instructions to configure each
setting. Then, the screen for setting TV (1Seg)
channels appears.

Automatic channel scanning begins. When receivable
channels are found, the channel setup is completed.
