Configuration of the Sample Rate
The sample rate of the balanced audio interface can be configured individually.
•
The default sample rate is 48.0 kHz.
•
The sample rate can be configured in the
Config.txt
file of the extender module with the balanced audio CPU
module. Therefore, the respective parameter
SRC
has to be entered into a new line. If there is not entered any
parameter, the sample rate 48.0 kHz will be used. The following additional sample rates can be configured:

Compatibility
Extender modules with balanced audio interface are compatible to extender modules with digital audio interface
regarding the transmission of the audio standard 2-channel PCM.
•
The compatibility shall be applied to the add-on module digital audio and the extender modules of the 481/491
and 483/493 Serie.
•
The compatibility is regardless of the input or output side, this means that a digital audio input is compatible to a
balanced audio output and vice versa.
