During the test, if the ambient sound levels are excessive, the test will automatically
pause and

iHearTest is Complete - Show Results
The hearing ability for each ear is presented as a score from 1-5. A description of the
score and indication for hearing aid use is also presented.
A maximum score of 5 represents “Normal” hearing ability, or insignificant hearing
loss. A score of 1 represents the lowest score indicating a potentially serious hearing
impairment that is best evaluated by a hearing health professional. Your test score
may be identical or different for each ear.
