Changing the film
When using a take-up spool it may be possible
to take one or two more pictures after expos-
ing the 36th frame before the film cannot be
advanced any further. (Occasionally the rapid-
wind lever (11) will stop part-way through its
travel.) The film should now be rewound: first
depress the rewind de-clutching button (10)
into its mount: the button will remain locked in
this position in order to make it possible to re-
wind the film, but will spring back to its original
position as soon as the rapid-wind lever (11)
is operated. Now swing our the re- wind crank
(14) and continue running it in the direction of
the arrow (Fig.26) until you can distinctly feel
the crank begin to turn more easily, indicating
that the film is completely re- wound. If the
rapid-wind lever (11) has been arrested mid-way
through its travel, it can now be swung right up
to its stop to tension the shutter completely.
Remove the camera back (29) and withdraw
the cassette containing the exposed film from
the feed chamber (21). When using a take-up
cassette, expose one more blank frame after
