Make sure that the device is not exposed to extreme heat, humidity or dust at the installation spot.

Make sure that cables do not lie around. This would decrease your own safety and the safety of third

parties.

The device may not be operated or kept in an environment where splashing water, rain, humidity or

fog is expected. Moisture or very high humidity can reduce the isolation of the device and result in

lethal electric shocks. When using fog machines never expose the device directly to the fog stream.

Keep a safety distance of at least 0.5 m between the device and the fog machine. Take care that the

fog saturation enables a good visibility of at least 10 m.

The ambient temperature must be between -5°C and +45°C. Avoid exposing the device to direct rays

of the sun or next to a heating appliance. This also applies for transportation in closed vehicles.

A relative humidity of 50 % at an ambient temperature of 45°C may never be exceeded.

The device may only be operated at a level between - 20 and 2000 meters above sea level.

Do not operate the device during thunderstorms. Overvoltage could destroy the device. Disconnect

the device during thunderstorms completely from the grid by pulling the mains plug.

During installation the use of a mounting bracket is required. To ensure good air circulation, keep a

free space of at least 50 cm around the device.

Surrounding objects or surfaces may not be touched by the housing.

Make sure that during installing and uninstalling of the device the area below the installation spot is

blocked in principle. This also applies for performing service and maintenance.

The device must always be secured by an appropriate safety rope.

Familiarize yourself with the functions of the device before operating it. Do not let inexperienced

persons operate the device. Major cause for malfunctions is an incorrect usage of the device.
