HOME XP4B - Magnetic wireless door/window detector
Specifications:
Transmitting frequency:
433 MHz.
Operating temperature:
-
10°C ~ +50°C
Operating humidity:
5% ~ 80%
Encoding used:
PT2262/EV1527
Supply voltage:
DC 12V battery, type 23A
Contact disconnection:
At 10 mm separation
Signal range to central unit:
up to 70 m in direct line of sight
Recommendation:
- The maximum wireless signal range in an open environment from the central unit is 70 m. In
houses with thick masonry or reinforced concrete, this distance decreases significantly.
- Use a 12V DC battery type 23A.
- The LED flashes to indicate the contact has been opened.
- A glowing or periodically double-flashing LED indicates that the battery in the device is
almost empty. Replace the battery with a new one as soon as possible.
- The detector must be placed indoors on a solid surface.
- Ideal placement: the larger part is on a fixed, non-moving surface (door frame, window), and
the smaller part (magnet) is placed on a moving part (window, door).
Installation:
On the main unit, activate detector pairing and insert the battery into the detector, or remove the
plastic strip near the battery, the detector will turn on. The detector will be detected by the main
unit. Now attach the two parts of the detector so that the larger part is on a fixed non-moving base
(door frame, window) and the smaller part (magnet) is placed on the moving part (window, door),
see picture. Attachment is done with the supplied double-sided adhesive tapes. In the case of both
parts it is also possible to attach using the holes in the cover (recommended). When pairing, it is
important to follow the instructions for the central alarm unit.
Replacing the batteries:
Using a flat-blade screwdriver, separate the rear and front plastic cover at the transmitter (the
larger part of the detector). Slide the battery out of the holder. Replace the battery, type 23A, taking
care to orient the "+" and "-" markings correctly. Carefully slide back into the housing and attach to
the back cover. Verify functionality by pulling the magnet away from the transmitter.
Observe the rules for working with electrical devices and change batteries carefully, using only the
type of battery specified in the specifications.
