1.  Take the unit out of the box, removing any packaging.
2.  Insert the base of the extension pole into the top of the cross base 

connector (the side without the grooves). (Fig.1)

3.  Insert the 4 stand feet into the cross base connector. The feet should have 

the flat edge facing the floor. Ensure that these are securely fitted. (Fig.2)

4.  Loosen the height adjustment nut on the extension pole and extend (pull up) 

the internal pole to the desired height. (Note: If the internal pole has slid into 
the extension pole, gentle tilt the assembly until it slides out. Seek assistance 
when doing this.) Fasten the height adjustment nut. (Fig.3 & 4)

5.  To attach the head unit to the internal pole, loosen the thumb screw at 

the base (the opposite end to the motor shaft). Place the head unit on the 
internal pole and tighten the thumb screw when it is aligned with the groove 
on the internal pole. (Fig.5)
