 The SIM card is installed

connected
 The system is securely mounted
 The power cables are plugged in
3.8.2 Power-on Procedure
To power-on the VTT-1000 please follow the steps below:
Step 1:
Connect the cigarette lighter power cable from the VTT-1000 to the vehicle.

Step 2:
Once the power is connected, the VTT-1000 will automatically turn on. The
power LED on the front panel will turn to red.
Step 3:
To turn off the VTT-1000, adjust the power switch to the power off position as
shown in
Figure 3-17
.
