D.2.1 Accessing the Sound Effects Manager
To access the Sound Effects Manager, do the following:

Install the audio codec driver.
Click either:
The Sound Effect Manager icon in the Notification Area of the system task
bar ( Figure D-2 ), or
The Sound Effect Manager icon in the Control Panel ( Figure D-4 ).
