S te p 3: Connect the audio devices . Connect speakers to the line-out audio jack.
Connect the output of an audio device to the line-in audio jack. Connect a
microphone to the mic-in audio jack.

4.5.3 S in g le RS -232 Ca b le Co n n e c tio n
The single RS-232 cable consists of one serial port connector attached to a serial
communications cable that is then attached to a D-sub 9 male connector. To install the
single RS-232 cable, please follow the steps below.
S te p 1: Locate the connector . The location of the RS-232 connector is shown in
Chapter 3 .
S te p 2: Insert the cable connector . Insert the connector into the serial port box header.
See Figure 4-16. A key on the front of the cable connectors ensures the
connector can only be installed in one direction.
