Step 9:
Close the CPU socket.
Close the load plate and pull the load lever back a little
to have the load plate be able to secure to the knob. Engage the load lever by
pushing it back to its original position (
). There will be some
resistance, but will not require extreme pressure.

Connect the 12 V power to the board.
Connect the 12 V power from the power
supply to the board.

3.6.1 Socket LGA1151 Cooling Kit Installation (Optional)
WARNING:
DO NOT attempt to install a push-pin cooling fan.
The pre-installed support bracket prevents the board from
bending and is ONLY compatible with captive screw type cooling
fans.
The cooling kit can be bought from IEI. The cooling kit has a heat sink and fan.
