2.5 AFOLUX AFL-317A Front Side 

2.5.1 Monitor 

A 17” SXGA LCD screen is installed on the front of the AFOLUX AFL-317A. The installed 

monitor has a pixel resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. The screen is shown in Figure 2-8 

below.

2.5.2 Touch-Screen Module 

A controller for the 5-wire resistive touch screen is installed on the motherboard. The 

sensitive touch screen is accurate, reliable and durable. 

2.5.3 Digital Camera and Microphone 

The AFL-317A is built in with a 0.3 M pixel digital camera and a set of microphone on the 

front panel (

Figure 2-8

). The camera angle can be changed by replacing the camera 

bracket (refer to 

Section 4.11

).
