4. SYSTEM INITIALIZATION

After all wiring process is done, you must initialize the iTDC/iTDC-SR.

Initialization is used to clear all data stored in the controller and reload default setting values (factory setting values).

During production and test process of the device, arbitrary setting values may be saved. Thus, restore it to default values by

Initialization.

Initialization switches are on the upper right side of iTDC/iTDC-SR. Press two initialization switches and then keep it for more
than 2 seconds then, beep sound will be generated.

Once beep sound is generated, release the switches then initialization process is starting. After initialization process is done, the

system restarts and then you can hear 2 beep sounds.

If the Controller is initialized, all ID information and event data stored in the Controller will be
cleared.  Therefore,  the  Initialization  should  be  performed  by  authorized  person  only.  It  is
strongly recommended to upload all ID information and events data before initialization.
After the  initialization, you should  transmit ID, Time, and Door definition from  software to the
device.
