6. Using the demo software 

6.1 Android BTMag Demo 

1.  Install the demo

 

Copy the “BluetoothDemo.apk” file into the internal memory or SD card of the android 
phone or tablet.  
 Go to the file browser and click “BluetoothDemo.apk” to install. 

 

 
 
 
2. Pairing  
1) Long press power button (about 5 seconds) on the BTMag to power on. When the 
reader is turned on, the green LED will flash three times. 
2) Go to the Settings of the phone. Find the Bluetooth setting button and turn on the 
Bluetooth function 

 

 
3) Press “ID_TECH BT MSR” for pairing. Some Android devices may require the 
password, it is “0000”.
