4) Paper Feed Failure
Phenomenon Description
Paper is not fed or fed
irregularly
Cause:
• Faulty connection to the motor connector.
• Check Method: Check the connection of the motor
connector.
• Remedy: Connect the motor cable to connector
correctly.
Cause:
• Motor breakdown.
• Remedy: Replace the motor.
Cause:
• Main Board Unit breakdown.
• Remedy: Replace the Main Board Unit.
Cause:
• Faulty mounting of the platen.
• Check Method: Check mounting condition of the platen.
• Remedy: Mount the platen properly.
Cause:
• Paper feed failure
• Check Method: Check if the paper is jamming or torn
and caught in the paper path.
• Remedy: Eliminate unnecessary paper in the paper path
and set paper properly.
Cause:
• Irregular printing blank label
• Check Method: Use light to detect if the light is on.
When the light is on, carry out the label learning; when
the light is off, replace the photoelectric detection.
• Remedy: Carry out the label learning.
Cause:
• Foreign body in the gear.
• Remedy: Eliminate the foreign body.
Cause:
• Gear Broken
• Remedy: If the gear is broken, replace the gear.
Cause:
• Continuous Label Feeding
• Check Method: Check if the triangle mark is aligned
with label.
• Remedy: Aligned the triangle mark to the label.
