Analyzer Components
Key
Description
Start
• Press and hold to turn the analyzer
on or off.
• Press to initiate a test.
Note
Press to toggle between alphabetic (ABC)
and numeric (123) characters when in data
entry mode.
ID
Press to display the Identify Patient menu
where you can:
• Enter a client ID (CID).
• Enter a patient ID (PID).
• Select a species.
• Recall the last client or patient.
QC
Press to display the QC Status menu
where you can initiate an EQC (Electronic
Quality Control) test. The test chamber
must be empty for an EQC test to be run.
Press to display the Print menu where you
can print results or system information on
an external printer.

Description
Data Base Press to display the Data Base menu
where you can:
• View the number of patient or EQC test
results currently stored and available.
• View stored patient or EQC results.
• Delete patient or EQC records.

• Press to select a menu option.
• Press to enter numbers or letters.
• Press

to display the Main menu.
• Press

to view previous results or

view the next results.
Cancel
• Press to stop an operation.
• Press to return to the Home screen
(“Insert...Cartridge” screen).
• Press to move the cursor to the left
when in data entry mode.
Enter
• Press to accept and store an entry.
• Press to move the cursor to the right
when in data entry mode.
