STEP 3 Code the Meter

With the meter off, insert the

code strip and the code number will appear

on the display. Then remove the

code strip and “OFF” will appear.

This tells you that coding is complete.

You can start testing now.

CAUTION!

If the code number displayed on the meter does not match the number printed on the vial, test

results will be wrong.
