Installation
5.1
Transport
▷
For transport, have two persons lift the equip-
ment by the floor plate.
5.2
Setting up
_
The machine is intended exclusively for use
within dry, closed rooms.
_
Minimum space requirements for the desktop
scanner (incl. connections):

Width: 420 mm
▪
Depth: 475 mm (excl. connection cable)
▪
Height: 540 mm

The set-up surface must withstand a load of
35 kg.

During operation, the room temperature must
be between 15
°C
and 30
°C
; avoid large varia-
tions in temperature.

Set up the machine on a sturdy work table or
work bench (off the ground and clear of walls;
this is important due to natural oscillation).
▷
The opening of the scan chamber must face
away from windows and strong artificial light-
ing.
▷
Adjust the height of the machine by screwing
the feet in or out, ensuring that the machine is
positioned firmly on all four feet.

Installation of the PC
▷
Connect the mains cable to the power supply
connection of the PC as well as to a mains
socket outlet.
▷
Connect a network cable to the network connec-
tion of the PC and the Internet router/modem.
▷
Unplug the blue VGA cable (analogue) from the
monitor.
