C. Console Redirection setting

Hardware requirement:
1. VSX-6100/ VSX-6101 & VSX-6100-EVB
2. Any PC with COM port, which installed Windows XP ( or other Windows OS) with Hyper
Terminal
3. A D-Sub 9 pin Female to Female Cable.

Enable the Console Redirection by hardware switch of VSX-6100 / VSX-6101.
1. Enable the “Console Redirection” by hardware switch (Figure 1).
2. Make sure J7 as “CLOSE” (Figure 2).
3. Use A D-Sub 9 pin Female to Female Cable to connect to COM1 and your PC’s Serial
Port.
