dPMR
OPERATION

dPMR operation
The transceiver provides digital Private Mobile Radio (dPMR) op-
eration that meets the 6.25 kHz bandwidth requirements for narrow
band operation. This increases the efficiency of channel allocation
and use of the spectrum.
NOTE: During dPMR operation, BIIS 1200 operation is dis-
abled.

Receiving a call

Receiving an Individual call

When an Individual call is received:
• The transceiver will automatically transmit the acknowledge-
ment.
• The LED indicator blinks orange.
• Beeps sound and the mute is released.

Hold down [PTT], then speak into the microphone.

Release [PTT] to receive a response.

After the communication is finished, push [Clear] to send a ‘Dis-
connect’ signal to terminate the connection.
NOTE:
The LED indicator or Beeps may differ, depending on the
presetting. Ask your dealer for details.
