Troubleshooting
If your repeater seems is not operating correctly,
check the following points before sending it to an au-
thorized Icom service center.
PROBLEM
Does not turn ON.
N o t r a n s m i t o u t p u t
power, or low output
power.
Sensitivity is low and
only strong signals are
heard.
Does not function, even
if a signal is received.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Power connector has a poor contact.
• Blown fuse.
• Antenna or coaxial cable has problems.
• Antenna or coaxial cable has problems.
• Unit initial setting is wrong or duplicated.
• Config. Setting is wrong.

• The USB cable is too long.

SOLUTION
• Check the connector pins and then re-
connect the DC power cable.
• Fix the problem, then replace the fuse.
• Check, and if necessary, replace the coaxial
cable or the antenna connector again.

• Set “A” to each voice and data repeater and
never duplicate the initial between voice
