• Hold the transceiver with its antenna straight up and pointing to the sky.

• If you hold the transceiver with a chest harness, make sure the antenna is pointing to the sky. Otherwise, you 

may lose the signal from the satellite.

• When you transmit and hold the transceiver in your hand, always keep it in front of your face.

Hold the transceiver above your shoulders and vertical while receiving and transmitting.

4. Distance with the other satellite PTT transceivers

Keep a minimum of 1.5 m (4.9 feet) away from other transceivers. Using within a closer range may cause 

interference.
