The channel name indication can be set for independent
memory channels.

Select the desired memory channel.

Push [MR•SKIP] to select memory mode, then rotate
[DIAL] to select the desired memory channel.

Push [SET•LOCK] to enter set mode.

Push [SET•LOCK] or [S.MW•MW] several times to select
“Anm” item.

Rotate [DIAL] to turn the memory name indication ON.

Push [TS•MODE] to exit set mode.
NOTE: When no memory name is programmed, the stored
frequency is displayed.

Copying memory contents
This function transfers a memory channel’s contents to VFO
(or another memory channel). This is useful when searching
for signals around a memory channel frequency and for re-
calling the subaudible tone frequency etc.
