Programmable function keys
The followng functons can be assgned to
[Upper]
and
[Lower]
programmable functon keys.
Consult your Icom dealer or system operator for detals concern-
ng your transcevers programmng.
If the programmable functon names are bracketed n the followng
explanatons, the specfc key used to actvate the functon de-
pends on programmng.
SCAN A KEY

Ths key’s operaton depends on the Power ON Scan settng.
When the power ON scan function is turned OFF;
Push to start and cancel scannng operaton. In case of trans-
msson durng scan, cancels scannng.
When the power ON scan function is turned ON;
Push to pause scannng. Scannng resumes after passng a
specfed tme perod. In case of transmsson durng scan,
pauses scannng. Scannng resumes after passng a specfied
tme perod.
SCAN B KEY
Push to start and cancel scannng operaton. In case of transms-
son durng scan, pauses scannng. Scannng resumes after pass-
ng a specfied tme perod.
PRIORITY CHANNEL KEYS

Push to select the Prorty A or Prorty B channel.

Push and hold
[Prio A (Rewrite)]
to rewrte the Pro A channel.
MR-CH 1/2/3/4 KEYS
Push to select a memory channels 1 to 4 drectly.
NOTE:
The memory channels 3 and 4 are avalable for IC-
F15S/F25S when
[MR-CH 3]
and
[MR-CH 4]
keys are as-
sgned.
