Take the following precautions before installing the hardware:
First ensure that the notebook is switched off and disconnected from the power supply.
Remove the protective adapter from the CARDBUS port and place the eSATA CARDBUS adapter
in the port.
After restarting the computer, Windows will automatically detect the new hardware.
Place the Driver CD in the CD / DVD drive and in the dialog box, search for and select the option
“Install from a specific location” and click “Next”.
In the next screen, tick the box “Also search this location” and then go to the CD containing the
drivers. Then select the folder “Drivers/Operating System” (select your Operating System).
Then click ‘Next’.
In the next screen, select “Continue Anyway”. Your drivers will now be installed.
After installing the drivers, the eSATA CARDBUS adapter is ready for use. We advise you to restart
your computer before using the eSATA CARDBUS adapter.
