4.5. Reversing the Door

The door opening can be reversed from “right hand hinged” to “left hand hinged” if
required.  If your appliance is supplied “left hand hinged” simply reverse the
following procedure.

Warning!
When reversing the door, the appliance must not be connected to the mains.
Remove the plug from the mains beforehand.

Remove the right top hinge cover and then remove the screws and the

hinge bracket.

Remove the left top screw cover.

Remove the hole cover from the left top of the door and put it to the right

hole where the door hinge was in place.

Lean the appliance back and prop it up securely at the front

Unscrew the feet from the appliance. Remove the bottom door hinge

screws and remove the bracket.

Remove the door from the upper hinge.

Swap the upper door pin to the opposite side of the appliance

Now insert the door onto the upper door pin. Refit the hinge, while leaving it

slightly loose.

  

Unscrew the bolt from the bottom hinge. Turn the hinge 180 and affix it with
the removed screw to the left side of the door.

     Remove the door seal, rotate 180 , and refit.

N.B. Service calls relating to door problems and/or cooling issues will be

chargeable if the fault is found to be due to an incorrect door
reversal procedure carried out by the consumer!

Do not fully tighten the screws until you have tested that the door closes
correctly and that the door seal is tight

Now secure all the screws and refit the feet and hinge covers.

  

Adjust the feet to the required height to level the appliance.
