
5. TRAINING
By balancing and shifting the body‘s centre of mass, various dynamic movements can be performed on the device. Even small weight shifts are sufficient to trigger
pitch or rolling movements. Avoid very fast or uncontrolled movements.
1) Pitch movement
By shifting the centre of mass forwards, you tilt the device downwards. Main load on the shoulder and arm
muscles. Push your centre of gravity back in order to align yourself horizontally again.

2) Rolling movement
Shift your centre of gravity to the left and right to
initiate movements in the roll axis. Main strain on the
torso muscles.

Read the enclosed installation instructions for information on installation and maintenance of the device.
Clean and disinfect padded surfaces of the ICAROS Health device after each use.
7. INCIDENTS
The ICAROS Health System is a class 1 medical device. Incidents must be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority in the member state of the user.
8. DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS
The ICAROS Health System does not contain any hazardous substances and can be disposed regularly, e.g. in bulky waste.
4. USAGE
The procedure described below ensures safe mounting and dismounting of the device.
1) Mounting
Place both feet one after
the other on the footrests.
Support yourself on the
handles facing towards
you.
3) Take position
First grasp the middle handles. When grasping the
front handles, place hip on the support belt.
5) Aligning
Now move your upper body further forward until you
are in a horizontal position.
2) Unlock
Unlock the roll axis by
pulling out and turning
the locking bolt by 90°.
6) Leave position
To leave the unit, move your centre of gravity back-
warts.
4) Leaning forward
Move your weight forward slowly.
7) Descending
Lock the ring element using the locking bolt and de-
scend backwards from the unit. Finally lock the pitch
movement with the help of the safety ropes.
