Microwave oven EN
Care aND CLeaNINg
1. Before cleaning, switch the oven off and
remove the power cord from the wall socket.
2. Keep the inside of the oven clean. Use a damp
cloth to wipe away any food splashes or spilt
liquids inside the oven. If the oven is very dirty,
you can use a mild detergent. Avoid sprays and
strong detergents, as they can stain the door,
discolor it or make it look dull.
3. Clean the outside with a damp cloth. Make
sure no water leaks into the vents as this can
damage the components inside the oven.
4. Regularly wipe the door and the window on
both sides, as well as the door’s seal and inside
parts to remove any spills or splashes. Do not
use abrasive detergents.
5. Never let the control panel get wet. Wipe with
a soft, damp cloth. Keep the door open when
cleaning the control panel to make sure you do
not switch on the microwave oven by mistake.
6. If steam collects inside or around the outside
of the oven door, you can wipe it away with a
soft cloth. This can happen if the microwave
oven is used when there is high humidity. This
is completely normal.
7. Sometimes the glass tray needs to be
removed and washed. Wash the tray in hot
water with soap.
8. The turntable ring assembly and the oven
floor must be cleaned regularly to avoid any
unnecessary noise. Only wipe the oven floor
with a mild detergent. The turntable ring
assembly can be washed with a mild soap
solution or in a dishwasher. When you remove
the turntable ring assembly from the oven to
clean it, you must put it back in the correct
position.
9. If a smell remains in the oven, you can put the
juice and peel from a lemon into 2 dl of water in
a deep microwave-safe plate. Run on full power
for 5 minutes. Then wipe dry with a soft cloth.
10. If the oven lamp has to be replaced, contact
an authorized dealer.
11. The oven must be cleaned regularly to
remove any food deposits. If the oven is not kept
clean, it can cause wear and tear on the
surfaces, which can shorten the lifespan of the
oven and may result in a hazardous situation.
