However, on a ThinkPad 600, 770, 390, i-series, or other late-model ThinkPad
mobile computer, you must follow these steps to disable the ThinkPad
TrackPoint pointing device:

1.

Click

Start.

2.

Click

Programs, ThinkPad, ThinkPad Configuration.

3.

Double-click the

TrackPoint

icon.

4.

Select

Auto-Disable

from the

TrackPoint

menu.

5.

Click

OK

to save the changes.

6.

Click

OK

to restart the ThinkPad mobile computer.
